Christy Wimber

A Note From Christy…

I can tell you a lot of things about me, but what I’d rather do, is tell you why I do what do. In the last 25 years of ministry, I’ve reached a place in my life where I want to be intentional with my time. Even more so than years prior. For many years I have worked with the Vineyard, Vineyard Ministries International, Vineyard Music, and traveled the world with my Father in law, John Wimber. I feel I’ve had a huge privilege in getting to experience all these amazing opportunities throughout the years.

The Church is massive, the Church is diverse and the Church has many weaknesses. Even with all her weaknesses the Church is still the most beautiful and powerful force on the planet. I want to be intentional in serving and being a bridge within the Bride. We can either be someone who builds bridges or tears them down. I want to spend my time being a bridge within and for the Church. It’s not enough just to attend events, or listen to teachings, we must also be proactive and intentional in loving the whole Church so we can serve the world around us as God intends.

In working with many Church movements, speaking at events around the world, I’ve seen first hand many times over just how easy the Church can get stuck; often missing what’s happening in the world that surrounds them.We are loved to love.

I want this to be a place that stirs the lover in you, the dreamer in you, but also motivates the doer in you. So you will find here on the site some things I’ve been serving, leading, and building these last many years to hopefully encourage the areas your serving in, but also the areas you desire to grow in.
